Top 10 Benefits That Tata Punch EV Will Provide Above Tata Punch Standard
Punch’s electric variant offers much more than just a fresh look and no tailpipe emissions.
The first new car, which made its debut in 2024, is an electric entry-level model. We are referring to the Tata Punch EV, for which reservations are now being accepted in advance of its later January 2024 launch. Technical details for Tata’s new Acti.EV platform, which powers this electric micro-SUV, have not yet been made public. In comparison to the Punch’s internal combustion engine (ICE) version, the Punch EV not only has a redesigned front fascia but also more amenities and technology. The following ten features are the main advantages of the upcoming Tata Punch EV over the standard Tata Punch SUV-Top 10 Benefits That Tata Punch EV car
LED projector headlights
Tata has disclosed that the Punch EV will come equipped with the new LED projector headlamps as standard equipment, while the regular Punch only receives halogen projector headlamps. These are also a part of the new fascia, which is meant to resemble the Tata Nexon EV in appearance. It even has an LED DRL strip running the length of the bonnet, which has welcome and farewell sequences.
10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen
With its entry-level electric SUV, Tata has unveiled its larger touchscreen infotainment system. It is a feature of the redesigned dashboard and improves the Punch EV’s interior experience over the Punch. Even better, it includes the Arcade.ev feature, which provides access to a variety of apps that can be played with while the electric vehicle is being charged. The standard Punch, on the other hand, has a 7-inch touchscreen.
The premium, fully digital instrument cluster for the Punch EV, as opposed to the semi-digital cluster for the standard Punch, is another feature that has been carried over from the Nexon EV. This feature is exclusive to the highest-spec model of the electric micro-SUV and is not available in any other model within this segment – Top 10 Benefits That Tata Punch EV Will Provide Above Tata Punch Standard
Six airbags
Six airbags will be included as standard equipment on the Punch EV, a feature update that is anticipated to become mandatory very soon. Rear parking sensors, ABS, and electronic stability control (ESC) are some of the additional safety features available.
front seats with vents
The Punch EV’s most unexpected feature-first addition is likely the premium comfort of ventilated front seats, which Tata’s entry-level electric SUV will offer. This will also only be available on the top variant.
Electronic parking brake
The electric Punch model has an electronic parking brake that is simpler to use and has an auto-hold feature that is helpful when driving on hills, in contrast to the standard Punch, which has a traditional stick in the central console for the manual parking brake.
360-degree lens
Tata will offer the Punch EV with a 360-degree surround view camera system, elevating both the safety factor and the premium user experience above that of the standard Punch. This feature makes maneuvering in confined spaces even easier, even though the Punch’s compact size makes it easy to use in urban areas already.
Wireless phone charger
A standard feature of any contemporary vehicle, the Punch EV’s wireless phone charger will only be available on the top version. The standard Punch is devoid of this feature as well.
Leatherette seats
With leatherette upholstery, the new Punch EV improves the passenger experience in the cabin even though the additional technology offers many more conveniences. Only the drive selector and steering wheel are available in leatherette finish on the standard Punch.
AQI-displayed air purifier
Through the central infotainment system, the Tata Punch EV will also come equipped with an integrated air purifier that displays the AQI. With the latter, you can monitor both the air quality inside your cabin and outside of it.
The Punch EV will have the following features over the standard Punch micro-SUV. Due to the electric drivetrain and these extra comforts, it will also cost more than the ICE Punch. While the regular Punch currently retails for between Rs. 6 lakh and Rs. 10.10 lakh, the Tata Punch EV is anticipated to start at Rs. 12 lakh.
But we anticipate that the latter will soon receive its first facelift, complete with many of the previously mentioned feature updates. In the comments section below, let us know which new feature of the upcoming Tata Punch EV most excites you.
