The Kia EV6 Electric car, which is specced for India, comes with a 77.4 kWh battery pack and two powertrain options: a dual motor all-wheel drive system (325 PS/605 Nm) and a single motor rear-wheel drive (229 PS/350 Nm). ARAI claims that the EV6 can travel up to 708 kilometers.
A 350 kW DC fast charger can recharge its battery from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes. A 50 kW DC fast charger takes 73 minutes to fully charge it from 10 to 80 percent, but a home charger completes the same job in 36 hours.
The EV6 is equipped with features including a 14-speaker Meridian sound system, wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, heated and ventilated front seats, a single-pane sunroof, and curved 12.3-inch displays for the instrument cluster, and a touchscreen infotainment system.
Eight airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) including blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking, and lane-keep assist are included.
