With the GLA, Mercedes provides two powertrain options:
A 163 PS/270 Nm 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine
Diesel engine, 2-liter, 190 PS/400 Nm
An 8-speed DCT transmission is matched with the diesel engine, while a 7-speed DCT transmission is fitted with the petrol engine. Mercedes-Benz offers a front-wheel drivetrain for the turbo-petrol unit and an all-wheel drive (AWD) arrangement for the diesel.
