Mercedes has announced that it intends to introduce more than a dozen new models to the Indian market in 2024. The redesigned GLS SUV has already kicked off the count. According to the brand, it will be concentrating on SUVs and will launch more than 50% of top-end models, in line with its own consumer preferences. Three EVs will be part of its launch offensive in 2024, most likely the EQS SUV and EQE sedan.
Mercedes has also declared plans to invest Rs 200 crore by 2024 in order to increase production capacity and introduce new models and technologies.
