The five-seater BYD E6 electric vehicle. The price of the BYD E6 (ex-showroom) is Rs. 29.15 lakh. It has a battery range of 520 kilometers. It’s capable of charging in 12 hours at 6.6 kW AC (0%–100%) and offers quick charging. This model includes four airbags for protection. and a boot space of 580 liters. It can reach a maximum speed of 130 kmph. Three colors are offered for this model. The BYD E6 EV has a 4.1 out of 5 user rating overall based on user reviews.

The WLTC claims that the e6 MPV’s 71.7kWh battery pack can go 520 km in the city and 415 km on a combined cycle. The MPV can reach a maximum speed of 130 kmph and is powered by a 95PS electric motor with 180Nm of torque.

The battery can be fully charged in ninety minutes with a 60kW DC fast charger. Regenerative braking can function from as low as 2 kmph and also replenishes the batteries. In addition, BYD sells a 7kW AC wall charger that takes 12 hours to fully charge a battery for an additional Rs 45,000.

Overview of Features

The BYD Seal is a high-end product with a lot of comfort and technology to offer. It has a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic glass top.

It also has a lot of safety features, earning an EV safety rating of five stars from Euro NCAP (2023). Nine airbags, a 360-degree camera, and a variety of advanced driver assistance technologies are included on the India-spec BYD Seal (ADAS).
