Price: Ex-showroom across India, the BYD Atto 3 is available in a single trim level for Rs 33.99 lakh. A special edition is also available for Rs 34.49 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).

The price landscape for lithium-ion battery packs used in electric car batteries is anticipated to change, as per the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). The estimated price range for 2024 is ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per kWh.

Charging: The Atto 3 has three charging options: a 3kW AC portable charger, an 80kW DC rapid charger that can replenish the battery from empty to 80% in 50 minutes, and a 7kW AC charger that can fully charge the battery in about 10 hours.

Features: The Atto 3 has a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, a 6-way powered driver seat, and a 12.8-inch rotatable touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Among its amenities are an 8-speaker sound system, a panoramic sunroof, automated climate control, a wireless phone charger, and keyless entry.

Safety features include a 360-degree camera, electronic stability program (ESP), hill descent control, seven airbags, ABS with EBD, TPMS, and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. Advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) technologies like adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking, blind spot detection, lane-keep assist, and front collision warning are also included.
