The Tata Harrier was recently redesigned and is now available for purchase, with prices starting at Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Except for the comprehensive price list of the automatic versions and Dark Edition cars, Tata has previously published all of the data regarding the new Harrier’s features and characteristics. Tata has priced the Tata Harrier Facelift automatic versions at Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 25.89 lakh (excluding the Dark variants). The comfort of the 6-speed automatic costs a premium of Rs 1.4 lakh for all options save the entry-level option, which has a Rs 10,000 reduced charge.

Tata offers the Dark edition of the Harrier beginning with the Pure model, which starts at Rs 19.99 lakh. It’s worth noting that the Dark version includes a panoramic sunroof. In addition, the top-spec Dark edition manual variant costs Rs 25.04 lakh.

The Dark automatic models start at Rs 21.39 lakh and go up to Rs 26.44 lakh, with a Rs 1.4 lakh premium above the manual. The Dark edition features an all-black exterior and, depending on the variation, 19-inch alloy wheels.

Features and Safety

The 2023 Tata Harrier includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen system, a 10.25-inch completely digital driver’s display, and a 10-speaker JBL sound system. Multi-color ambient lighting, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, ventilated front seats, a 6-way powered driver’s seat, a 4-way powered co-driver seat, a panoramic sunroof (with mood lighting), and a gesture-enabled operated tailgate are all included.

In terms of safety, the Harrier facelift has up to seven airbags (six of which are standard), electronic stability control (ESC) with hill assist, a 360-degree camera, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It also comes with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and adaptive cruise control (only on automatics). According to Global NCAP, it is also one of the safest automobiles built in India.

Diesel Powertrain

The 2-liter diesel engine that powers the Tata Harrier facelift produces 170PS and 350Nm. It is available with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Other SUV engine alternatives, such as a petrol and an EV, are in the works and should be available in 2024.

Price and Rivals

The Tata Harrier facelift has an ex-showroom Delhi price range of Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 26.44 lakh. It competes against the MG Hector, Mahindra XUV700 5-seater models, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos higher-spec models.
