Features Inspired by Taycan Design

Fast Charging Capability
The majority of competing premium electric SUVs cannot match the Macan EV’s 270 kW DC rapid charging capability, which allows the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 21 minutes. The high-voltage switch in the battery splits the entire 800-volt battery into two 400-volt segments at 400-volt charging stations, allowing charging at up to 135 kW. The quicker charging option charges the battery from 10 to 100 percent in 5 hours, compared to 13.5 hours for the former. Additionally, it enables 50 kW DC rapid charging, which takes only 56 minutes to fully charge a battery from 10% to 80%.
Cost & Competition
The starting price of the Tata Punch EV Adventure long range variant, ex-showroom across India, is Rs 12.99 lakh. It competes with the Citroen eC3 and offers a high-end substitute for the Tata Tiago EV and MG Comet EV.
