Let’s see how it appears in the recently made public photos – Hyundai Creta Car
More Tough Than Before
The official photos provide a more in-depth look at the new exterior design, which we had previously seen online thanks to spy photographs. The 2024 Hyundai Creta has a bolder, more rugged look than the model that came before it. The front of the SUV has been completely redesigned, with a new rectangular grille, an LED DRL strip the width of the bonnet that features an inverted L as its signature, and revised headlight square housings. The skid plate, which is finished in silver, is now more noticeable below.
The only modification to the SUV’s appearance is a fresh set of alloy wheels. Moving on to the back, the updated Creta features linked LED tail lamps that share the same inverted L-shaped component as the front. Here, too, the bumper design has been modified to include a larger silver skid plate – Hyundai Creta Car
Redesigned Cabin
The 2024 Creta’s dashboard layout has been totally redesigned, with two combined 10.25-inch screens now housing the digital driver’s display and the touchscreen infotainment system. A new open storage area with ambient lighting has been installed beneath the piano black panel that houses the side AC vent on the passenger-side dashboard. It also features a touch-controlled climate control panel, which is new.
Other highlights of the Creta facelift include a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, and an 8-speaker Bose sound system. In addition to the six airbags and 360-degree camera that protect passengers, sophisticated driver assistance systems (ADAS) have raised the safety quotient.
Checking Powertrains
The 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine (160 PS / 253 Nm) that powers the facelifted Hyundai Creta is now mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine (115 PS / 144 Nm) with a 6-speed manual or CVT and the 1.5-liter diesel engine (116 PS / 250 Nm) with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission are the two other engine options that the manufacturer has kept from the previous version of the SUV.
Estimated price and Competitors
Pricing for the Hyundai Creta facelift is anticipated to start at Rs 11 lakh. Its competitors include the Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Kia Seltos, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
