Engine and Transmission

There are two battery pack configurations available for the Punch EV: 25 kWh (Medium Range) and 35 kWh (Long Range). With a stated range of 315 km, the smaller battery powers an electric motor that produces 82 PS and 114 Nm. With a stated range of 421 kilometers, the larger model boasts an electric motor with a higher power output of 122 PS and 190 Nm. Multi-level regenerative braking is another feature of the electric SUV.

It can recharge the battery from 10 to 80 percent capacity in less than an hour with DC fast charging up to 50 kW. Additionally, it has AC charging choices of 3.3kW and 7.2kW, with charge times listed below for each.

Features & Safety

When it comes to adding features, Tata has gone all out. A 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and ventilated front seats are all included with the Punch EV.

Six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat anchors, 360-degree camera, and blind spot monitor all contribute to passenger safety.

Price & Rivals

The Tata Punch EV competes with the Citroen eC3 and is priced between Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 14.49 lakh . It may also be viewed as a high-end substitute for the MG Comet EV, Tata Tiago EV, and Tata Tigor EV.
